DISCIPLE Bible Study I Tuesdays at 10:00am & 7:00pm - This January we will be beginning a unique journey through the Bible with the DISCIPLE Bible Study. "DISCIPLE Bible Study I" is an overview of the Bible Beginning with Genesis and ending with Revelation. Through it you will learn important information on the archaeological, theological, historical, and literary context of the Bible, brought to you by well-known Biblical Scholars. In this 36 week study (with breaks every six weeks or so) you will read almost the entire Bible, but more importantly, you will be able to discern and discuss the deeper issues brought up by the various texts. You will also learn how to interpret the texts for today's world, and for your personal life, in our ever-changing society and culture.
All those who have participated in this study in the past have been very happy that they took the time to enrich their understanding of the Bible and its great variety of literary genres. Many have said that it was "the best thing they ever did!"
PLEASE SIGN UP FOR THIS AWESOME STUDY! The cost for the Workbook will be $39.00. [If you need help with the cost of the workbook, please see the Pastor.] (If you would like to do this, but would prefer a different evening or morning please let the Pastor know and we'll see if we can arrange it.)

UMPROC NEWS UMPROC stands for "United Methodist Parishes of Rockland Count". The United Methodist Churches of Rockland County have decided to get together once again as UMPROC, in order to share ministry and support one another. We have descussed many activities to take part in together. This year, rather than each church having an Ash Wednesday service, we are uniting together for one service, which will be held at Suffern UMC, 18 Parkside Dr., Suffern, NY 10901, 845-357-5400.
UMPROC is also planning a Maundy Thursday service to be held at Pearl River.
There are plans in the works for a Methodist Night at the Boulders Baseball Game. Combined Youth Group events, and various other activities that we can do together. March 30th is the deadline to purchase tickets for UMPROC Boulders game on July 24th (Thursday). Game theme: Christmas Night in July and fireworks.
