Taize Service
Worship service of prayer, reflection, healing and reconciliation in the tradition of Taize is held every second and fourth Wednesday from September to June at 7:30 p.m. The service lasts about 35 to 40 minutes.
Our church offers this worship service in hopes that it provides a way of slowing down and pulling back from the busyness and cacophony of sound that bombards us every day. It includes meditative singing and a reading of the Scriptures. It also includes intercessory prayer and most importantly, time for silence. No sermons, no offerings, no announcements! It is a gift to the community that all might develop peace in their souls and with each other.
Our hope and prayer is that you discover a resource that enriches your life and helps you deal better with some of the things that clutter our hearts, minds and souls.
