WORSHIP SERVICE

Sunday Worship begins at 10 a.m..
Holy Communion is offered on the first and third Sundays of the month
and at special occasions.

Our worship in both its variety and its unity is an encounter with the living God through Jesus Christ in the power of the Holy Spirit. The teaching of scripture gives our worship a basic pattern that has proved itself over the centuries, that give The United Methodist Church its sense of identity and links us the universal Church. An ecumenical spirit prevails.

Along with hymns, prayers (corporate and silent) there are scripture readings, preaching and offering and a time of thanksgiving. There is a Children's Sermon for elementary school children, prior to their dismissal for Church School classes. At the very beginning we share both personal and church family concerns, joys and thanksgivings.

Music is led by our Organist and Music Director, Diana Hughes, who skillfully uses our organ and piano to inspire, lift and direct us. Special choral groups are formed throughout the year. Our Teen Choir offers their song during the school year.

Each Sunday members of the congregation offer themselves as ushers, readers, servers, and acolytes
